Hey there! I'm Alayna, and this is my husband Jon! We're two regular, Ohio-born people who love to spend our free time watching movies, finding great happy hours, and hanging out with our dogchild, Oslo who we just brought home in February 🥰
I’ve been around weddings my whole life. My grandfather was a wedding photographer and my mother designed and made wedding dresses. So, naturally, my heart and soul is in wedding photography. Literally everything about weddings make me so excited, and yours will be no different!

Weddings are literally my favorite thing.
If I could choose any way to spend a Saturday, I would without hesitation say shooting a wedding. I love every detail, every moment, and every person that I cross paths with.
When my sister got married in 2019, I realized even more so the gift that I can give people. Not just the bride and groom, but their families and friends too. This bride is someone's whole world- a daughter, sister, best friend. That groom is someone's world- to his parents, his siblings, his buddies.
A wedding day is so much more than a pretty dress and a big party. It's a day that so many people have been dreaming of for decades and a day they'll never forget for decades more. And I have the humbling, amazing, serious, and fun privilege to freeze the moments of that day for the rest of their lives.

CUSTOM COLLECTIONS for weddings outside of ohio
We'll schedule a time to chat about your wedding day, whether that's in person or over Zoom. Every couple has unique wants when it comes to photography, and every wedding day has unique aspects that will determine what feels right. We'll talk about your vision for your day, the photos that are most important for you, what you're looking forward to for your celebration, and more.
step ONE
After you walk me through your tentative wedding day plans, we'll build a Collection that has everything you need and nothing you don't. This is going to look different for every couple and every destination. Most couples book between six and eight hours of coverage and a second shooter. There are also options to add on rehearsal dinner coverage, a day after session, or multiple days of coverage. Destination wedding packages start at $3300, however the total price will vary based on your needs of the day and current travel costs
step TWO
After we chat, I'll send you an email with all of the information you'll need, along with a sample timeline so you can see how your day might flow, a wedding planning checklist to keep you on track, and more helpful things. Once you talk it over with the primary decision makers, if you decide to book, I will immediately do a happy dance! 🎉 To reserve your date, there is a retainer payment of 25% the total cost as well as a signed contract. And then you can do a happy dance too!

I truly believe an engagement session is a vital part of the entire process!
You have the option to add an engagement session to your custom collection. Engagement sessions start at $200 for a one hour session in Columbus, Ohio. If you have a different spot in mind, just let me know and we can figure out the perfect package!
During an engagement session, you’ll have the chance to get to know me, experience how I shoot and how I handle posing and lighting. An engagement session will make a huge impact on how the wedding day flows! I’ll arrive already knowing how you two interact, what your best poses are, and how to photograph you in a genuine way. What I learn about you during your engagement session is invaluable!
You will feel like such a pro on your big day because of the great practice you had during your engagement session!

where will you be traveling from?
I'll be traveling from the state of Ohio. Fortunately, there are three airports that I can choose from to get the best rate and best arrival times! For locations less than six hours away, I've got a current driver's license, an iron bladder, and an addiction to true crime podcasts 😃

who is your second shooter?
My second shooter is my sister! I love being able to spend the day with her, and we have so much fun! She's been shooting with me since 2011 and we are frighteningly in sync on wedding days. Even down to our killer dance moves.

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF HAVING A SECOND SHOOTER?
There are many! I can only focus on shooting one thing at a time, so while I'm getting the "safe" shots, my second can be getting the in between moments. For example, while I'm shooting the maid of honor giving her speech, the second photographer can be capturing reactions of you, your friends laughing, you mom crying, etc. So while it's not necessary to have a second shooter, it will give you a wonderful vantage point of your whole day!
